We inaugurated the Balik Kaanyag Child and Family Center in October 2023. Its just over a year! We are in awe and gratitude, as we see our vision become reality, one step at a time. Since we opened 14 months ago, we conducted 12 Empowerment camps, 41 Happy Day Out group therapy sessions, 193 individual therapy sessions, one school-wide child protection event, several trainings and 2 child protection and family empowerment conferences. We touched the lives of more than a hundred affected children and more than five hundred students, caregivers, community leaders and interested individuals. Here are some highlights. To protect the privacy of victims/ survivors of abuse, we blur their faces in the photos.
