When she learned about it, she felt her world crashing down. As she was economically dependent on him, she felt helpless at the beginning. But, she took courage and ran away with her two kids to seek help from local authorities. She was struggling with emotional trauma from the breakdown of the relationship and fear and uncertainty about their future. After receiving care and support from Balik Kaanyag, she slowly regained hope, strength, and faith in God. She now serves as a volunteer during empowerment camps.
